Free Spirit 'S'-Range Spod Rods

Available in two actions of 4lb and 5lb the special carbon aids accuracy at all ranges and the low resin content means the action of the rod is preserved for much longer despite the continual overloading of the blank caused by large spods. Although both rods are suitable for short, medium and long ranges, we recommend the 4lb for most people and this will cast all the standard size spods. They are also good for extreme ranges with the streamlined rocket type spods. The S.U. model is better suited to big spods like our own Big Bed or if you continually want to fish at 100 yards plus
